Something a little different today but incredibly comforting and a surprisingly winning combination. The miso just adds depth and just comfort. Don't knock it until you try.. enjoy!
Ingredients - serves one
50g quinoa flakes
a pinch of salt
0.5 tsp brown rice miso
200ml almond milk
1 tsp maple sryup
2 tbsp plantbased yoghurt
1 tbsp almond butter
half an apple, cut into thin matchsticks
25g blackberries, sliced
1 tsp honey
1 piece of chocolate, chopped
Pour the porridge ingredients into a small pan and stir over a heat until thickened.
Pour into a bowl.
Top the porridge with a dollop of yoghurt and almond butter.
Scatter over the apple and blackberries.
Drizzle with honey and sprinkle over the chocolate.
