Cacao and Cardamom Porridge


Chocolate porridge will always be the one for me. Pudding like, rich and indulgent. This ones my favourite as it contains my other two top porridge ingredients, cardamom and coconut milk powder. I hope you love it.

Ingredients - serves one


Porridge -


50g quinoa flakes

1 tbsp cacao powder

1 tbsp coconut milk powder

2 tsp maple syrup

0.5 tsp cardamom

a pinch of salt

200ml almond milk


Toppings -


1 apple, diced

a small handful of blackberries

1 tbsp peanut butter

1 piece of chocolate, chopped

1 tbsp chocolate granola

1 tsp hemp seeds




Pour the porridge ingredients into a small pan and stir over a low heat until thickened.


Pour the porridge into a bowl.


Scatter the apple over one side of the bowl and the blackberries alongside.


Dollop the peanut butter on the porridge.


Scatter over the chocolate, granola and hemp seeds.
