Chai Cashew Butter


Chai is my favourite thing ever. If you have been following my blog a while, you will have seen that I have posted an almond chai butter in the past! This one is more buttery, thick and versatile. You can dollop it on anything, use it as a frosting, add it to dips, blend into hot chocolate and smoothies, you name it. Give this one I go! It makes a MASSIVE jar, that might just last you a week…



500g cashews toasted 
4 cardamom pods, split and seeds only. 
1 tsp ground ceylon cinnamon 
Pinch ground cloves 
1/2 tsp ground ginger 
Pinch pepper 
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg 
1/4 tsp salt 
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp fennel seeds
2 tsp coconut sugar


Toast the cashews in a frying pan until golden, pour into a blender with all the spices and blend until smooth. The longer you blend the smoother and runnier it will be!

Pour into a jar and Enjoy! X
