The Great British Bake Off....
I do love a good dessert. My favourites have got to be a crumble, as it reminds me of my Grandma and baking with her when I was little or this chocolate date caramel bake that my Mum used to make all the time when I was younger. Best served with ice cream and hot out of the oven.
Bread week! Who doesn't love bread?! So comforting, easy, a staple and so versatile. Are you a sweet or savoury bread person? Luckily for you, I've covered both! This one is great in both sweet and savoury situations and can be adapted to have fruit and nuts folded though or olives and sun dried tomatoes!
It's cake week on The Great British Bake Off and because I'm lazy/because I have a big fat sweet tooth... I thought I'd make a banana bread! It counts ok. Can't go wrong with slightly crisp on the outside and super soft and moist on the inside banana bread!
Biscuits/cookies, all the same thing. They're in the same category just different methods and textures. Biscuits have more of a snap and the same texture throughout. Whereas cookies are more crumbly with a crisp exterior and soft interior. Which one is your favourite? For me, it's cookies!
Chocolate Themed Recipes...
Blondie, brownie, you name it, I'm in! So moist, so rich yet so light. Incredibly moreish and incredibly tasty. My peanut praline is my go to with this one but try swapping the nut butter for almond and using my cherry truffle bar or lemon bar for the chocolate chips instead.
Thick and crunchy rocky road with chewy dried fruit and crumbly nuts. Whats not to like? Made with my peanut praline bars melted down into a thick chocolate sauce before all the textures are folded through.
